Every new day is the first day of the rest of your life. Saying, "thank you", upon waking and taking in that first conscious breath, is starting your new day living in gratitude. Living in a state of gratitude by being thankful for the first breath, every breath following it, and everything you have, is imperative to living a positive life geared for manifesting dreams.
Most folks hope to live a happy life and want a chance to follow their dreams. Living in a state of gratitude, along with aligning positive thoughts with truest desires, will help bring dreams into fruition.
The ego is generally the voice behind negative thinking. Keeping negative thinking at bay, helps to keep the ego in check, and assists in focusing positive thoughts on the dream. The more positive energy put toward the dream, the greater the chances for the dream's creation.
Going on a negativity diet by limiting screen time on negative information, or limiting time spent with negative people, helps in keeping positive thoughts in alignment with the dreams you hope to bring into the manifested world. The old saying, "Be careful what you wish for", comes to mind.
Try a small experiment. Focus on something easy or simple. For example, once while exercising at a local park, I jogged past four bocce courts. Being a bocce fan, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be nice to have someone to play bocce with today?" When I came around the path a second time, there at the bocce courts was a single woman playing a game by herself. Bingo! Prayer answered, dream manifested.
Trying little exercises like this shows yourself how you manifest events in your life through your thoughts. These exercises give you confidence in manifesting and show you how synchronistic events work. Keep a log of these synchronistic events to reflect back on at a later day, or for cheering you up if you are experiencing a rainy day.
Chapter Four in my book, "Tell Your Ego Stop It! Start Living Conch-sciously." is about faith. Faith is a main ingredient in manifesting dreams. Having faith that your dreams will come true is as important as focusing on those dreams, and keeping your thoughts positive and free of negativity. Tunnel vision in a sense.
Practice trying those little experiments to increase positive energy flow back to yourself. The more you practice, the more you manifest. The more you manifest, the easier it becomes and the closer you get to your big life dreams.
You are what you think. So try to remain as positive as possible and keep the faith that you have all the time you need to manifest all the dreams you desire.
